As Utah Tech University transitioned into the Western Athletic Conference and moved from NCAA Division II to Division I, the school�s need for improved athletic facilities became a top priority. As part of Utah Tech�s athletics department master plan, we designed a successful 25,500-square-foot expansion and renovation of the softball stadium. The softball field was refurbished with stadium bleacher seating, a dedicated visitor locker room, and expanded ticketing and concessions facilities for the athletics complex, while a central plaza was added that links the softball and baseball facilities and provides space for Trailblazer fans to gather before games. Phase one of the project was completed in 2020, and phase two will continue as funding allows.
