Perched atop the Porto Palácio Hotel, the VIP Lounge offers an exclusive retreat with panoramic 360º views of the city. Located along Boavista Avenue, one of Porto’s most significant thoroughfares, this rooftop addition provides a sophisticated setting for VIP breakfast, a lounge bar, and brunch service.
Designed as a distinct architectural statement, the lounge intentionally breaks from the existing hotel's form, introducing a dynamic interplay of recesses and overhangs. This deliberate contrast creates a striking new volume that stands out while complementing the hotel's skyline presence. More than just an addition, the VIP Lounge redefines the rooftop experience, offering hotel guests an elevated space to relax, dine, and take in the city from a fresh perspective. This project was designed in collaboration with architect Pedro Balonas.
